We know which suitcase we’ll be packing for holiday travel this season. Illustrious Italian fashion house Fendi has joined forces with premium luggage label Rimowa on a travel case that melds the best of both luxury brands.
In sleek Rimowa fashion, the suitcase is made of aluminum and features a signature multiwheel system for ease of movement. Two TSA locks and a dedicated cover-up make it travel-ready, while an internal flex-divider system allows for functional storage of your favorite Fendi apparel and accessories.
Fendi brings its trademark Cuoio Romano leather to the piece on the handles, also lending its characteristic touch to the yellow-and-black web belt that secures the case with a striking FF emblem. The Fendi logo is further depicted with a brushed effect on the aluminum case, setting it apart from a standard metallic piece, as well as in black embossing on the sleek black neoprene lining. Personalize the exterior with included stickers and a luggage tag placed on the belt.
Rimowa and Fendi’s collaboration marks the final piece in the luggage brand’s 80th anniversary year. The classic Rimowa aluminum case first appeared in 1937 and went on to inspire eight decades of luxury luggage collections from the brand.
The Fendi x Rimowa travel case will be available in Fendi and Rimowa boutiques as well as on fendi.com as of November 27, 2017.
