Situated on Mallorca’s peaceful northwest coast, this twin-manor-house hotel lies at the edge of the artists’s village Deià, making it an ideal base for taking art classes, exploring the region by Vespa and hiking into the island’s hills. Many original features of the updated 16th-century buildings still exist, including the original watchtower and the olive-press room, now a fine Mediterranean restaurant helmed by chef Guillermo Méndez. In the traditional Mallorcan guest rooms, white walls, beamed ceilings and terra-cotta-tiled floors host artworks and antique furnishings.
