KEMPINSKI HYBERNSKA PRAGUE HOTEL

four seasons

The beautiful Kempinski Hybernska is a stunning neoclassical building that was originally a Baroque mansion. Its décor is reminiscent of Hollywood’s Golden Age with tasteful contemporary furnishings and fittings that exude a timeless elegance.

Kempinski’s unique private garden and baroque fountain provide the perfect luxury setting for guests to relax in after a hard day’s sightseeing. The hotel’s luxury spa and fine dining restaurant, Le Grill, are also highly recommended. Since the Kempinski Hybernska opened two years ago, it has already welcomed many elite travelers including Woody Allen, Michele Mercier and Beyoncé.

TOP SUITE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE

Why we love it: The Presidential Suite’s main attribute is its spacious terrace with amazing views over Prague’s towers and spires. The suite is located on the top floor of the building and features two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. Fit for entertaining are the fully equipped kitchen and living room, divided into a seating and dining area with sleek, modern furniture. The dining table seats ten, but with a fireplace and stunning views of Prague from the floor-to-ceiling windows, diners might find it hard to focus on their food.

LE PALAIS HOTEL

Le Palais Hotel

Le Palais Hotel, with its gorgeous Belle Époque architecture, is a fine example of Prague’s city palaces.

Built in 1897 as a private residence, its historic interior and façade have been faithfully restored to combine elegance and history with modern conveniences. Le Palais is located in an exclusive residential area, ideal for those seeking peace and quiet away from the tourist trail. Guests can stay in one of the 60 rooms and 12 suites at Le Palais, all with marble floor-heated bathrooms, or opt for the royal suites, which offer up to five bedrooms. Known for its unique garden parties, the Summer Garden is a great place to gather for a drink or meal in a spectular setting with delightful views over Prague.

TOP SUITE LE PALAIS ROYAL SUITE

Why we love it: The Le Palais Royal Suite is a combination of Le Palais Suite and four Deluxe Rooms on the third floor, offering a total of five bedrooms all with their very own marble bathrooms. The suite is a haven for the sophisticated traveler who values privacy and subtle luxury. Its high ceilings, old floor boards and imposing antique desk give it an air of old world decadence. One of the suite’s key features is its large living room with window bay area where you can enjoy intimate meals while looking out over Prague’s magnificent skyline. A complimentary bottle of champagne will greet you on arrival, and guests will enjoy additional complimentary services in the form of L’Occitane cosmetics, a mini-bar and high-speed internet use. Guests can opt to book the Suite as one, two or four-bedroom accommodation, with each bedroom including a king-size bed and full en-suite marble bathroom, though the master bedroom is the obvious highlight with its vast windows and black marble bathroom. As you enter from the great hall, you will appreciate the light and airy living room with its adjacent study area and dining room that seats eight. Built-in plasma screen televisions are integral throughout the suite and high-speed internet access is available. However, it is not the Queensberry style sofa, the Belgian black and gold lamps, nor the warm hues from luxurious fabrics that steal the show, but rather the famous views over the Vltava River, Charles Bridge, Malá Strana and Prague Castle that give this Presidential Suite our seal of approval.
