Earlier this year GR8 announced the launch of a new partnership with the accomplished chef Massimo Bottura. Now the experience agency has revealed the latest development in this collaboration; on December 1st and 2nd, 2017, GR8 will hold an exclusive dining experience on New York’s Ellis Island with food created by chef Bottura himself.
Marking the one year anniversary of his musical A Bronx Tale being on Broadway, the dinner will be hosted by legendary actor and screenwriter Chazz Palminteri, right by the Statue of Liberty. Here, the three Michelin star Italian chef will present a one-off culinary experience with dishes that fuse tradition with contemporary cooking techniques. Staying in line with GR8’s aim to echo the environment each dining concept takes place in, the menu will take inspiration from the ‘City of Dreams’ New York.
While looking out over the New York skyline, guests will dine on psychedelic spin-painted veal and fresh whimsical tarts, each of which will be paired with wine from the internationally revered winemaker Roberto Cipresso.
During the event a live auction will take place, from which all proceeds will go to the event’s charity partner, God’s Love We Deliver. Founded in 1985, this charity is now the leading provider of nutritious and personalized meals to individuals who are unable to shop and cook for themselves.
