Held annually in the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, the Chelsea Flower Show was a riot of color, scent and spectacular aesthetics.
A showcase of individually-planted and tended gardens by horticulturalists both amateur and professional, this super-civilized event drew big names as well as garden enthusiasts. Among those seen wandering the walkways between the beautifully-crafted garden plots were cookery writer Nigella Lawson, actress Helen Mirren, Beatle Ringo Starr and designer Vivienne Westwood.
