YIXING XUAN TEAHOUSE

By Chris Boyle

Enjoy some of the worlds finest teas from Yixing xuan teahouse

Style / Ambiance: Yixing Xuan is a teahouse and a restaurant combined, located on the bustling Tanjong Pagar Road.

Translated it means ‘happy, small house’, which is unsurprising since customers feel happy and relaxed at this venue. A true oasis of serenity in the heart of the lively business district, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip slipped in for a quick cup of tea here in 1992. You can also attend regular tea appreciation lectures with expert Mr Vincent Low, where he teaches visitors the subtle art of tea-making.
