Swiss watchmaker Baume & Mercier’s slogan is “Life is about moments,” while More Magazine bills itself as the source for “Simple Secrets Of Gorgeous Women.” So perhaps it wasn’t surprising that the two joined together at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City to celebrate the magazine’s “More Than Just a Beauty” search that whittled down 1,600 nominees to four winners.
The group included a 33-year old oculofacial surgeon, a 53-year old Windy City PR whiz, a 62-year young Korean immigrant grandmother who put all three of her daughters into Ivy League schools (racking up a 120 miles a day shuttling them around), and a 49-year old Paralympic Skier.
Also getting attention were new watches from the brand’s Promesse collection which were displayed alongside a recreation of the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris, famed for its love locks. All in all, it was an evening filled with nice “moments.”
