7 hours and 27 minutes after leaving Arolla, Jean Nicolas Michaud, the famous watch retailer in Verbier, and his team completed the most grueling alpine sporting events in Switzerland: the 30th Patrouillle des Glaciers.
The Breva Génie 02 dual altimeter, worn on his wrist, accompanied him in a vertical climb of 1,900 meters / 6,233 feet.
The Patrouille des Glaciers (PDG) is considered one of the toughest endurance ski mountaineering races in the world. The race is organised every two years by the Swiss Army, in which military and civilian teams compete.
