The Suite
W Aspen has 88 guestrooms and suites within the main hotel building, offering a range of accommodations including the brand’s signature WOW and Extreme WOW room types. For guests seeking added privacy and space, the property also includes 11 private Sky Residences — two- and three-bedroom homes with separate ownership, yet with access to the hotel’s amenities.
At the pinnacle of W Aspen’s offerings is the Presidential Suite, affectionately known as the Apres Suite. This one-of-a-kind retreat unabashedly embraces retro glamour and playful excess, drawing inspiration from the decadent pleasure palaces of 1970s Aspen. Every corner of the suite is designed to evoke fun and social energy: from the quirky lava lamp to a chair suspended from the ceiling, the decor is boldly kitsch yet luxe and makes quite the statement.
The suite’s king bedroom features a dramatic circular bed surrounded by a curved light feature, creating a striking focal point. The separate living area is designed for both relaxation and entertainment, with a winding sofa around a central fireplace and whirlpool. A spacious dining table accommodates communal meals, and there’s a foosball table for a few friendly competitions.
The vinyl record collection and the signature W Mixbar allow guests to curate their own music and cocktail experiences, turning the Apres Suite into a true party pad.

The Hotel
The W Hotel group is known for its more cheeky, fun style of stay and this W Aspen is the brand’s first alpine property in North America — bringing the same playful vibe to the renowned ski town.
W Aspen is in a pretty unbeatable location. Set slope side, right at the base of Aspen Mountain, it provides ski-in, ski-out access and has a ski concierge to help with anything and everything ski or snowboard related. It’s also just a few steps from Aspen's restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and nightlife. It’s not just open for the ski season, either — come summer, the hotel provides speedy access to hiking, biking, paragliding, and river activities like rafting.
While guests naturally come here to spend time on the mountains, the hotel offers plenty to entertain non-skiers. The Wet Deck Rooftop is open all-year-round and has a heated swimming pool, a hot tub, and fire pits — all with panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. Light bites and cocktails are served here, too.
There’s a fully equipped gym — including Peloton bikes — that’s open to guests anytime. There’s no spa at the W Aspen, but the hotel does partner with local spa providers in the area.
39 Degrees is the signature restaurant and serves classic American fare while delivering a distinct apres ski vibe. Hidalgo Agave Lounge & Tequileria is a fun cocktail spot serving unique concoctions. There’s also in-room dining that’s available anytime as part of the W’s famed "Whatever, Whenever" service.
