The Suite
The Two-bedroom Oceanfront Residence is one of the premier accommodations at Anantara Lawana Koh Samui. With two large en-suite bedrooms and two bathrooms, the residence is designed around a Sino-Thai aesthetic, featuring shaded terraces, indoor-outdoor living, and tortoise-inspired accents throughout the interiors.
Intricate woodwork runs throughout the space, including carved dark wood doors and four-poster beds. The en-suite bathrooms continue the indoor-outdoor theme, with square stone bathtubs set outdoors.
Guests have access to generous living areas and direct beach access, with ocean views from almost every vantage point. Sliding doors lead to the villa’s sundeck and private infinity pool, where guests can also find a shaded sala for al fresco dining and sunset gatherings. The wooden deck drops down to a lower area, with further outdoor seating, both shaded and unshaded, and glittering views of the sea below.
The guest experience is seamless, with in-residence check-in and check-out, curated welcome amenities tailored to guest profiles, and a dedicated villa host from pre-arrival through to departure.
Your in-villa host can arrange a range of in-residence experiences upon request, including private barbecues prepared by a personal chef, massages, yoga, or personal training sessions, and other bespoke experiences.

The Hotel
Anantara Lawana Koh Samui sits along a quiet stretch of north Chaweng Beach, overlooking the protected waters of Ko Mat Lang. The resort is conveniently located just a seven-minute drive from Koh Samui International Airport.
The design draws on Koh Samui’s Sino-Thai heritage, with accommodation ranging from rooms and suites to expansive villas with private pools. Pool Suites reference Nathon’s old shop-houses, while Pool Villas – styled with maritime blues and fishing lamps – nod to the island’s fishing villages.
Tree Tops restaurant serves contemporary cuisine through a signature eight-course fine dining experience, enjoyed from the canopy of a 120-year-old rain tree. For a more intimate evening, private salas can be reserved for a chef-led tasting menu with ocean views.
For local flavors, CAY offers Thai dishes with Indian influence, including rich curries, seafood-led plates, and tandoori-style specialties. Ocean Kiss and Sandal provide relaxed, al fresco dining, with a seafood-first focus.
For pre- or post-dinner drinks, the Singing Bird Lounge is a cocktail bar framed by trees and sculpted rock formations, which some guests may recognise from season three of The White Lotus. Cocktails are served in the open air as the island shifts from golden hour into evening.
The Anantara Spa offers signature treatments alongside a weekly programme of wellbeing experiences, including sunrise kayaking around Ko Mat Lang, beachside sound healing, and introductory Muay Thai sessions.
Island hopping is among the resort’s most popular activities, allowing guests to explore hidden beaches nearby. Inland, cultural excursions include visits to Buddhist temples and local sites of worship, such as Wat Khunaram, home to the mummified monk preserved in meditation.
