Description
This remote Vancouver Island resort is located on the Clayoquot Sound, a Pacific inlet lined with conifer forests and secluded bays. Its 25 white tented retreats have benefited from a recent substantial renovation. The Waterfront Ensuite offers a front-row seat to the Bedwell River and its boisterous wildlife. The suite, which sleeps up to four, features specially commissioned furniture from local designers, a cast-iron stove and an outdoor deck with traditional Adirondack seating. Caring for the pristine setting is a resort priority, and all 25 suites are non-invasive to the surrounding Unesco-protected ecosystem.
