The Grand Bal Miss Dior Blue features the Dior Inversé 11 ½ caliber. By placing the oscillating weight on the front of the dial, Dior can lavishly embellish it, making it a key design element rather than a practical component. Here, it takes the form of precious blue and pink metalized petals that move with every sway of the wrist. The mother-of-pearl dial has an engraved sunray pattern featuring snow-set white diamonds around the flowers and the rotor’s center. Crafted instainless steel with a fully diamond-set 18K pink gold bezel, the watch pays tribute to Mr Dior’s love of flowers and to one of the house’s first haute-couture dresses, the Miss Dior dress.
