Marinas in Barcelona

By Chris Boyle

Vilanova Grand Marina

The Mediterranean provides Spain with a stunning backdrop for sailing, with gorgeously clear water gently lapping at the beautiful beaches of Catalonia and unrivaled seafood for Barcelona’s restaurants.

There is a wealth of sailing options available in the Mediterranean and the city provides world class facilities to harbor yachts.

MARINA PORT VELL

The location of the Marina Port Vell makes it a popular choice amongst superyacht owners.

Situated just a five minute walk from Las Ramblas, the Marina is ideally placed for shopping, dining and visiting the fantastic sights in the Gothic Quarter. The facilities at this marina are superb, with electricity and Wi-Fi, 24-hour security and a 400-tonne dry dock. The marina has 410 berths in service all year for yachts up to 180 meters (590 feet).

VILANOVA GRAND MARINA

Specifically designed to accommodate superyachts, the Vilanova is one of the few harbors in Europe to be created this way.

The marina has 49 spacious moorings which range from 25 to 80 meters (82 to 262 feet). In addition, the marina provides a specialist repair area for large boats as well as high quality technical services; facilities include electricity, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Located 20 minutes from Barcelona International Airport and 40 minutes away from the center of Barcelona, the marina is located in the picturesque town of Vilanova and experiences sunny weather all year round. The marina is perfectly situated for heading to the delights of the Mediterranean: Marbella, Majorca, Ibiza, and Sardinia.

PORT FORUM

Port Forum is a state-of-the-art marina just a short journey from Barcelona.

The marina boasts 31 berths for boats of up to 80 meters (262 feet), and 170 berths for boats between 10 and 25 metres (32 to 82 feet). Port Forum has an excellent technical area which offers quality repair services, and the marina offers the full complement of facilities, with Wi-Fi, fresh water, cable TV and ISPS. There are a number of bars and restaurants in the locality, and with urban ferries that connect straight to Las Ramblas, Port Forum has everything superyacht owners could possibly require.
