Held at various locations across the city, including the Hagia Eirene Museum, Istanbul Modern and Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall, the Istanbul Jazz Festival consistently features many world-class jazz artists.
Alongside traditional and contemporary jazz, you can expect a heady mix of rock, electronica and world music. The event has long been a celebrated date in the world jazz calendar and past performers include Ray Charles, Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie. More recently, the festival has attracted the likes of Grace Jones, Seal and British Grammy-winner Imogen Heap.
