Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit offers New Wildlife Experience

By Elite Traveler

The AAA Five Diamond resort Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit has just launched a new wildlife experience, giving you the opportunity to discover the native wildlife species of this region.

You’ll now be able to get up close to these species on guided tours of Estero del Salado, a protected urban estuary that’s made up of mangrove and marsh vegetation. This wild environment is home to a wealth of reptiles and bird species.

A two-hour canoe tour, round-trip transportation to the estuary and a gourmet packed lunch are included in the excursion, with a private session on native birds hosted back at the resort. You’ll gain insight into Mexico’s exotic bird species, find out where they come from, what they eat and how they behave. A photo op brings the insightful session to a close.

Book the Wildlife Adventure Package for rates starting at $445 per adult per night in double occupancy. Up to two children are complimentary with parents in the same suite. This all-inclusive rate includes a la carte dining at a variety of specialty restaurants, along with premium branded drinks.
