CIRQUE DU SOLEIL’S IRIS

By Chris Boyle

A FLORAL TRIBUTE TO THE KODAK THEATRE

JUNE – SEPTEMBER, 2015

Performances from the acrobatic troupe never fail to amaze and, in the summer of 2011, Cirque du Soleil’s newest production Iris moved into L.A.’s Kodak Theatre (now Dolby Theatre).

Home to the Academy Awards, the Kodak is an apt location for a show that marries dance acrobatics and live video to sensationally depict the history of cinema. Directed by French choreographer Philippe Decouflé with music from composer Danny Elfman, Iris is a lyrical and fanciful experience. Kodak Theatre perks include VIP seating and catering by Wolfgang Puck.
