In fact, the 50th-floor suite is a celebration of its urban surroundings, drawing on the city’s identity in art, film, music and fashion. Immerse yourself in New York’s movie and music history by delving into the suite’s library of films and a music collection curated by Academy Records. The 3,300-sq-ft suite’s interiors, from the three bedrooms and living room to 10-seat dining space with Swarovski wall installation, were created by design firm BBG-BBGM. The dove gray and ivory color scheme with charcoal and black accents are subtle reminders of Mandarin Oriental’s Asian roots.
