Built in 1920 by René Lalique, the villa opened to the public in September 2015 following a redesign under the direction of chairman and CEO of Lalique, Silvio Denz, who acquired the brand in 2008. Villa René Lalique has been restored with its original exterior design, a combination of local Alsatian architecture and other influences such as the Normandy style, while the gourmet restaurant provides a sleek, ultra-modern addition. Villa René Lalique oozes sophistication while embodying the family glassmaking history with black-and-white photos lining its walls. Nestled in the heart of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park in the village of Wingen-sur-Moder, Villa René Lalique overlooks a picturesque meadow with neighboring horses.
