China To Relax Rules on Private Jet Flights

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

HONG KONG, SAR — Sept. 7 – According to a report in The South China Morning Post here, China is planning to relax the advance time for flight requests for private jets from six days to as little as three hours.

According to the report, the change will initially apply only to private jets registered in China which could mean a boost to the general aviation industry as more companies based in China or with significant operations on the Mainland use private jet travel.

Another increase is projected in the jet card and charter market as foreigners utilized Chinese based private jets to expedite their business travel and high end leisure trips.
