Christian Louboutin is taking fans inside the label’s whimsical world with a new web series entitled “Le Carosse Noir.” Launched this past weekend with a splashy, circus-themed bash at Cannes, all seven three- to four-minute episodes can be viewed exclusively at ChristianLouboutin.com.
The latest short film series follows a trio of actresses—known as the “Loubi’s Angels”—who are on assignment at the Cannes Film Festival. Blending together the worlds of the circus, fashion, music and cinema, The Carrosse Noir Project is a modern take on the musical comedy. The exclusive soundtrack was created by acclaimed rapper/producer Swizz Beatz, while designers Roland Mouret and Martin Grant crafted bespoke show costumes for Loubi’s three Angels.
