GENEVA, Switzerland — Duc-Oger is partner of Festival Verité: “the Second International Meeting of commited cinema”. This festival takes place on 8, 9 and 10 of October this year, under the patronage of Her Majesty the Queen Noor of Jordan; Christine Albanel from ministry of culture; and Rama Yade, ministry of Foreign Affairs for Human Rights. President of Honour is Wangari Maathai, Nobel Peace Price Winner for 2004. Duc-Oger supports strongly this public and mediatised platform of social and humanitarian engagement, which welcomes each year filmmakers, engaged artists and politicians, to enable them to exchange ideas and concerns, and to elaborate actions with a view to make theirs preoccupations knowned. They offer the public the opportunity to view commited movies and to debate with the filmmakers. A Duc-Oger timepiece will be sold by auction during the gala dinner.
