Iguazú Grand Resort, Spa & Casino, was the scene for the New 7 Wonders organization’s press conference announcing that Iguazú Falls is the only Argentine destination to be one of the 28 finalists in the New 7 Wonders contest, in which 224 countries and 430 candidates participated.
An online campaign to spur voting for the natural wonder has been launched at www.votecataratas.com.
www.votecataratas.com includes the promotion of Argentine and Brazilian figures, such as former soccer player Gabriel Batistuta and the Lalo Mir, as well as the promotion of the Falls as an international tourist site and natural phenomenon.
