Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Porsche Design Studio have created an exclusive made-to-order private bar concept. Recently launched in Macau, the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Private Bar by Porsche Design Studio, of which only 50 will be designed, stands at 7.2 feet tall and is crafted from brushed stainless steel, natural shagreen leather and Australian lacewood. State-of-the-art motion sensors activate its innovative automated opening sequence. When open, the bar reveals a magnum of Blue Label with exterior detailing by PDS, two Johnnie Walker Blue Label 1867 Limited Edition bottles and four crystal glasses, presented on a subtly illuminated surface. A hidden chilled compartment rises out of the bar with the press of a button to reveal a bespoke ice bucket, steel tongs and four more glasses (US$190,000).
