Kimberly McDonald Makes Diamond Sea Turtle Bracelet For Oil Spill Relief

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine

New York-based jewelry designer Kimberly McDonald has created a limited-edition bracelet to aid in the cleanup efforts in the Gulf.

The one-of-a-kind Diamond Sea Turtle Bracelet is made from 18K recycled gold, reclaimed diamonds, a diamond briolette and hand-woven silk macramé. Available exclusively at the Mitchells Family of Stores in Connecticut, New York and California, 100% of the proceeds will go to the National Wildlife Foundation, one of the first organizations to respond to the oil spill crisis.

Each bracelet retails for $2,000 to $2,500. With only 50 bracelets available, Kimberly’s goal is to raise $100,000 in total. She hopes to “inspire people to get involved and take the state of our environment seriously.”
