Korean Air Adds New Services for First Class Passengers

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Korean Air has launched a Premium Care Service for full fare First Class passengers departing from or transiting through Incheon International Airport to/from the airline’s 13 gateways in the Americas. Korean Air staff will accompany passengers departing Incheon from check-in to boarding, and will take care of seat assignments, checked luggage, and lounge access. The staff also can brief the passenger about expected arrival times, weather conditions, etc. Transit passengers (who request this in advance) will be met at their Incheon arrival gate and guided through their connection. If the connecting flight is operated by Korean Air, the passenger will be taken to the KAL First Class lounge, and staff will return near flight time for an escort to the gate. Transit passengers also can request this service at Incheon’s transit check-in desk. This new service complements Korean Air’s other specialized services for premium passengers such as free luggage wrapping.
