Airline Lufthansa is again raising the bar in quality service by pampering premium guests with the carrier’s new “Captain’s Dinner” program. Through November 30, First Class passengers on select routes from Germany will be personally greeted by the Captain before the four-course menu is served in a candlelit atmosphere. The international fare features a lobster appetizer, lemon sherbet with champagne, a main course of grilled beef filet with fresh truffle, green asparagus spears, carrots and au gratin potatoes, and a selection of desserts. The menu is also available á la carte.
The “Captain’s Dinner” will be available on flights from Frankfurt to New York and Chicago, and from Munich to Newark, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
