Last week, Vittorio Missoni kicked off the debut of his first African boutique with a cocktail hour to welcome customers to Casablanca’s newest fashion outlet, Missoni. Located in Morocco’s largest city, the Missoni boutique spans two floors and offers selections from the women’s and home collections including bags, shoes, glasses, and gold fringed hanging lamp, which actually hangs above the door.
The stores is decked out in typical Missoni décor — Wengen, Fleury and Boanica carpets cover the floors, sofas showcase Missoni fabrics, Pantone 9010 highlights the walls, and a crystal-railed staircase with vinyl steps links the floors. A valuable friendship indeed.
