Legendary jewelry house Van Cleef & Arpels celebrated the opening of its own heritage exhibition at Shanghai’s Museum of Contemporary Art with an exclusive soiree attended by the city’s elite. Displayed in a dreamlike setting designed by Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku, 100 years of the brand’s jewelry, watches and precious accessories were on show for the first time in China. In attendance were actresses Fan Bingbing, Gong Li and Zhang Jingchu, jeweler Samuel Kung, French senator Jean-Pierre Raffarin, model Pace Wu and Van Cleef & Arpels’s former president Stanislas de Quercize.
In January 2013, Stanislas de Quercize will assume his new role as CEO of Cartier.
