Ritz-Carlton is expecting to open at least ten hotels under its Reserve brand in the next several years, according to Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Chris Gabaldon. New properties will join the two existing Reserve properties in Thailand and Puerto Rico.

Speaking at the International Luxury Travel Mart in Cannes, Gabaldon said projects in Los Cabos, Muscat and Morocco are moving forward. He identified the Indian Ocean, Malaysia and Southern Africa as ideal locations for further development.

In other notes, Gabaldon said Chinese Mercedes-Benz owners will get an upgrade to a suite when they book a Club Level room at Ritz-Carlton’s Chinese properties.
