New York-based designer Sophie Théallet has paired with the city’s ultra-luxurious Gramercy Park Hotel to launch an exclusive capsule collection of dresses. The limited edition designs will be displayed in celeb hot spots Rose Bar and Gramercy Terrace to celebrate the completion of a recent hotel-wide renovation.
“I was so delighted to be approached… for this project,” said Théallet in a statement.“The Gramercy Park Hotel is such a chic New York landmark. I love all the art work and the nonchalant spirit of the place. I wanted my designs to reflect the interiors’ richness with a touch of sensuality.”
This will be the second designer partnership for the hotel—fellow New Yorker Narciso Rodriguez was tapped to design dresses for Rose Bar following its opening in 2006.
