Recognizing a need for expert advise and native knowledge, Ian Swain, a so-called “true-blue-Aussie” himself, along with his wife Linda Swain, founded Swain Destinations. Twenty-seven years since conceiving the fully customized destination experience, the same passion for travel is in the DNA of his six children, many of whom are involved with the family business. Ian sat down with Elite Traveler to describe the burgeoning luxury travel market and how Swain Destinations doesn’t just plan trips, but actually fulfills dreams.
