Independent Swiss brand Armin Strom hit a home run with its new Orbit watch — the world’s first timepiece to have the date function displayed on the bezel. The watch required an all-new movement to make this feature operational, and the in-house column-wheel mechanism also allows for the date function to be deactivated (and reactivated) with the push of a button on the case side. If turned off, when turned back on the date hand jumps to the current date on the fixed black ceramic bezel.
