WHO: World-renowned tenor Jose Carreras will perform a highly anticipated concert with the Acapulco Philharmonic Orchestra at the Forum at Mundo Imperial in Acapulco, Mexico.
WHEN: The concert will take place on April 3, 2010.
WHAT: Jose Carreras, one of the world’s most celebrated tenors, will be performing a selection from his extensive repertoire in Acapulco. Over his impressive 40-year career, Carreras has performed in some of the most prestigious theatres and opera houses in the world, including the Teatro all Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan Opera House in New York and the Royal Opera House in London. The Forum at Mundo Imperial will now be added to the long list of important venues graced with the voice of Jose Carreras.
The Forum at Mundo Imperial celebrated its grand opening in November 2008 with Yanni Voices, an amazing special event featuring world-famous composer Yanni along with Olga Tanon, Jose Jose, Lucero and Cristian Castro. The Forum has additionally hosted such talented musicians as Carlos Santana, Yuri, Café Tacuba, Fobia and Ricardo Arjona.
