In addition to the Bryan Brothers, the tournament’s ATP World Tour already included World Top 20 players Kei Nishikori, Tommy Haas, John Isner, Kevin Anderson and Janko Tipsarevic.
The ATP Champions Tour event pitted a US team with Roddick, Jan-Michael Gambill and Aaron Krickstein against a European squad led by Goran Ivanisevic, Mats Wilander and Mikael Pernfors. Marin Cilic defeated Kevin Anderson in the longest Delray finals in history, while the Bryan brothers won their third Delray doubles title.
