The Restaurant
The Yeatman, perched in Vila Nova de Gaia, offers more than just a meal; it's an immersion into Portuguese culinary artistry with panoramic views of Porto. Ricardo Costa, the chef, presents a tasting menu that is rooted in traditional Portuguese cuisine, with a clear homage to his hometown of Aveiro, while showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients. The restaurant earned its first Michelin star in 2011 and has proudly held two Michelin stars since 2017. The dining experience extends beyond the plate, with multiple spaces including a main dining room featuring expansive windows and a terrace that overlooks the most picturesque parts of the city. The wine cellar is also considered one of Portugal's best.
