The Suite
The Coco Chanel Suite at the Ritz Paris functions less as a typical accommodation and more as a faithful recreation of the designer's private world. It pays tribute to Gabrielle Chanel, who called 15 Place Vendôme home for more than two decades, drawing direct inspiration from her famous apartment at 31 rue Cambon.
The signature palette of black, ivory, and white sets the immediate tone. The separate living room is furnished with suede sofas, crystal lamps, and original Venetian mirrors, while the use of Coromandel screens helps define the intimate, layered atmosphere she favored. Look closely for the decorative nods to Chanel's personal iconography: Chinese lacquer panels, the lion motif she adopted as her emblem, and the Goossens table featuring an ear of wheat.
High windows frame the Place Vendôme, whose octagonal shape reputedly inspired the N°5 bottle stopper. Functionally, the residence includes two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a private 'hammam' for relaxation.
The Hotel
A brand so iconic that the adjective ‘ritzy’ was coined after it, Ritz Paris is the pinnacle of luxury and sophistication.
