The Suite
The Emory in Knightsbridge is the fourth Maybourne hotel to open in London; its siblings are Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley. While there’s nothing as humdrum as an ordinary bedroom in this — or any — high-end hotel, Maybourne has ensured The Emory Penthouse is steps above the rest of the inventory, figuratively as well as literally. Occupying the entire top floor and with interiors by London studio Rigby & Rigby, this two-bedroom aerie features calming golds and creams. It’s huge at 3,229 sq ft but cozy, with an inviting lounge and two eight-seat dining tables (in the lounge and on the terrace), allowing for indoor or outdoor dining. The loveliest feature of all, though, might be the uninterrupted views of Hyde Park’s leafy canopy. You’re in central London, but you could almost have escaped to the country.
The Hotel
An ultra-modern addition to London’s hotel landscape, The Emory is an exclusive retreat in Knightsbridge. Designed with privacy in mind, the all-suite hotel offers a discreet and personalized experience. Interiors emphasize contemporary elegance, with sleek design and state-of-the-art amenities. Guests have access to a private members’ club and curated dining experiences, including the UK's first abc kitchens by Jean-Georges. The location, steps from Hyde Park and some of London’s finest shopping, enhances the appeal.
