The Suite
As locations go, you can't get much better than The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto. Not only does the 53-story tower deliver panoramic views of Lake Ontario, but its central downtown position means top landmarks like the CN Tower, Roy Thompson Hall and Scotiabank Arena are all within touching distance.
The 263 key hotel unveiled a dazzlingly contemporary transformation in 2021, including revamped guestrooms and culinary offerings (they kept their coveted cheese cave) and an update to its sprawling 23,000-sq-ft Spa myBlend.
A destination in its own right, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto’s wellness retreat delivers everything from a champagne nail bar and bespoke high-tech Clarins facials, to a globally inspired massage menu and personal training sessions.
The hotel’s 63 suites are among the biggest in the city with The Ritz-Carlton Suite taking the crown as the hotel’s largest. A city sanctuary delivering 2,415 sq ft of living space, it has an apartment feel and features full-length windows spanning its width.
Interior inspiration comes from the city’s silver screen history with glamorous lighting, black and white wall art and platinum-hued deco furnishings throughout including a pair of lavish velvet couches in the living room.
Double doors to the left lead to a separate dining room which seats eight, whilst double doors on the right lead to an enormous bedroom complete with a window-side chaise lounge overlooking a breathtaking lake view.
The suite’s ample master bathroom is lined with marble, an enormous slab of which sits above the freestanding tub, its swirling natural tones of beige and amber acting as a beautifully unique piece of art. The suite also boasts a separate kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and study.
Guests of The Ritz-Carlton Suite gain access to The Ritz-Carlton’s Club Lounge with exclusive amenities like personalized private shopping at the city’s top designer stores, a dedicated concierge and 5pm cocktails.

Tell us about a defining moment in your role that sticks out.
"It's challenging to single out just one defining moment as many interactions with our guests hold great memories. However, I find immense fulfillment in hearing guests express that we've crafted a memory for them during their stay that they'll cherish for a lifetime. Establishing these emotional connections with our guests, witnessing their return visits, and receiving their heartfelt gratitude is truly exceptional to me."
