Tag Heuer released the Carrera Plasma this year, the first watch to feature lab-grown diamonds set into the case and on the indexes. Even the crown is entirely created from a lab-grown diamond. The 44mm case is crafted of black anodized aluminum, and the dial plate is polycrystalline diamond, wherein the crystals are grown as one cluster instead of individual diamonds. The Carrera Plasma watch is powered by the Heuer 02 Tourbillon Nanograph movement. It is not serially produced yet and is a one-of-a-kind timepiece that was the brainchild of CEO Frederic Arnault.
