KUALA LUMPUR – THAI’s Royal Silk Lounge at Kuala Lumpur’s International Airport has officially reopened beginning July 2008 after undergoing full renovations from November 2007 to April 2008.
In addition to a more spacious environment with a new maximum capacity for 75 members – 11 seats in the VIP section and 64 seats in the main lounge – services and amenities include snacks and beverages, LCD televisions, stereo and sound equipment, a passenger carry-on baggage holding area, and upgraded WI-FI/internet facilities.
THAI’s Managing Director for Ground Customer Services, Mrs. Wanporn Wibooncharoenkitja states, “THAI always places great importance on providing services to passengers that extend maximum convenience and greater comfort. With the re-launch of THAI’s Royal Silk Lounge at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, passengers can enjoy the facilities, products and services offered in the lounge, where they can relax and work, based on their travel requirements.”
The Royal Silk Lounge is available to THAI’s Business Class passengers, Royal Orchid Gold Card members, Star Alliance Gold Card members, Singapore Alliance and Lufthansa Airlines Premium Class passengers.
