Reception Team
First day – In the morning, visit the fabulous Guggenheim Museum, the Basque region’s star attraction, then take a stroll to Bilbao’s old town (Casco Viejo) and lunch on pintxos (small tapas on bread) in the Plaza Nueva. Walk back from Casco Viejo via the river or take the tram and enjoy the great views.
Second day – Visit the Museum of Fine Arts (Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao) on the Plaza del Museo, then head out for some shopping at the Philippe Starck-designed Alhóndiga Bilbao. This culture and leisure center boasts a cinema multiplex, library, fitness center, auditorium, shops and a restaurant.
