Live Streaming Now Offered at Mexico’s Velas Resorts

Velas Resorts in Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit are offering a new selection of wedding services, including live streams, dedicated social media coordinators, real-time drone videos and interactive live wedding paintings, ideal for family and friends who are unable to attend the big day.

For up to one hour and 2,000 simultaneous viewers, the live stream is available to be viewed on the web via a personalized landing page, ensuring no one will miss the moment the couple says I do. The couple will also receive an exclusive hash tag and personal social media concierge for the wedding who will automatically post images to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram throughout the ceremony. After the ceremony the concierge will compile a Pinterest board with all the images for the couple to share and enjoy.

To uniquely capture wedding celebrations, the resort also offers drone filming. Drones capture wedding celebrations from new heights using unique angles. The service includes a crew of five to film and three cameras providing up to ten hours of recording. The final five minute edited video will be delivered within one month of the ceremony, as well as a downloadable link with the final video, aerial and ground images in full HD.

The resort also offers live wedding paintings, a tradition of European aristocracy for more than three centuries.The service launched earlier this year and acts as a performance show while capturing time-honored details and emotions on a fine canvas for a high quality piece to last beyond a lifetime. Couples can select their preferred canvas size, oil or acrylic paint and their specific style including impressionist, expressionist, abstract or surrealist. Prior to the wedding, couples will meet with their artist to determine who and what to include in their painting. The artist begins by painting the basic elements of the scene and continues by capturing moments as they naturally unfold.
