Aston Martin has launched the fastest Vantage in the iconic model’s 74-year history. Reaching top speeds of 202mph, the new supercar has been updated with cutting-edge design details.
The British luxury car manufacturer has raised the bar when it comes to power: the revamped Vantage can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 3.4 seconds (considerably faster than its predecessor’s 3.6 seconds) and features a heavily reworked 4.0-liter Twin Turbo V8 engine producing 665 PS and 800 Nm of torque. Notably, this is the biggest-ever jump in power and torque compared to the model it succeeds.
Other standout highlights of the latest Aston Martin Vantage include fine-tuning of the chassis architecture and the addition of a new electronics system to further maximize performance. The new supercar is fitted with an advanced dynamics control system that takes data from several sensors such as the 6-axis accelerator, powertrain, and braking system to create a detailed picture of what the car is doing and apply it to the Electronic Stability Program to give drivers maximum control.

The exterior has also been given a refresh; the new body is 30mm wider than the preceding models and has an entirely redesigned front end complete with a bigger veined grille aperture for additional cooling. “To capture the new car’s huge uplift in power and performance we have accentuated its physique, increasing its muscularity and sharpening its sculptural form,” explained Marek Reichman, chief creative officer at Aston Martin. “We took some inspiration from the One-77 supercar, but we wanted Vantage to express its intent and potency more explicitly. One look and you know it packs a real punch, but there’s an elegance of form and proportion that hints at the sophistication that underpins its raw power.”
Future owners of the Aston Martin Vantage will have the chance to choose from three core livery designs and 21 exterior colors spanning everything from Ion Blue to Cosmopolitan Yellow. There’s also an array of bespoke options using the Q by Aston Martin personalization service.

As for the interiors, expect the highest quality materials and hand-stitched extra supportive sports seats. The new Vantage is also fitted with a state-of-the-art sound system developed by Bowers & Wilkins, an integrated infotainment screen and a smart navigation system with 3D mapping.
“As we enter a period of pivotal change in the world of high-performance cars it is essential to remain true to those qualities upon which a legendary marque has been built,” said Amedeo Felisa, chief executive officer at Aston Martin. “Any car bearing the Vantage name has much to live up to, which is why this newest model makes an unwavering commitment to high performance in the purest and most explicit form. Class-leading power and speed establish its credentials, but it is through expert application of the latest technologies to the Vantage’s perfectly balanced front-engine rear-drive chassis that we have created a sports car with addictive capability.”
