The Ritz Carlton Residences, Sunny Isles Beach has sold its first penthouse for $21 million – before it h as even been built.
Set on the 51st floor of the 52 storey residence, the penthouse is expected to have five bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and a terrace with a garden and a pool. It is expected that the building work will commence in 2016 with a projected completion date of 2018.
Originally being sold as two separate residences, the buyer – described as a “successful entrepreneur” – asked to combine the two to create a luxury penthouse. The buyer was supposedly choosing between the 51st and 52nd floor. The 52nd floor unit is available for an asking price of $30 million.
The building which will have 212 units and is situated around 20 miles north of Miami. Amenities will include a restaurant and pool, guest suites for visitors, an ocean front state of the art fitness centre and 24/7 valet parking and concierge.
