Sail from Berkshire’s Spring Cottage to a Michelin-starred meal
Picture the scene. Sailing aboard your own private flotilla, the Suzy Anne, towards the perfect Michelin-starred meal at The Fat Duck by Heston Blumenthal or Michel Roux’s Waterside Inn.
You’ll stay at the legendary Spring Cottage at Cliveden House – typically reserved for Hollywood A-Listers – where Stephen Ward and Christine Keeler resided during the infamous Profumo scandal.
Enjoy your own riverside garden with private mooring at one of the most romantic cottages on the River Thames, with full use of the Pavilion Spa at Cliveden House, including gym and tennis centre.
A stay at Ireland’s lavish period mansion, Ballyfin
Lifestyle Director Claire Kennedy from Knightsbridge Circle says: ‘’My absolute favourite: The amazing Ballyfin in Ireland where you can dress in period costume and really feel like the year is 1820.”
Just over an hour outside Dublin, Ireland’s most lavish regency mansion is set at the foot of the magnificent Slieve Bloom Mountains.
With 600 acres of private parkland and a 28 acre lake, this magnificent estate is the ideal setting for activities including clay pigeon shooting, archery, horse riding and falconry, as well as wine and whiskey tastings.
What could be more impressive as part of a Valentine’s meal than dining at one of history’s most famous tables?
Via Knightsbridge Circle, you can experience an exclusive private dinner in the Santa Maria delle Grazie church alongside Da Vinci’s great masterpiece, The Last Supper.
Accommodation will be provided at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel, where all club members receive a room or suite upgrade*, daily breakfast and $100 of food and beverage credit to be used during their stay.
*room or suite upgrade subject to local availability
A private dinner at home, prepared by celebrity chef Marcus Wareing
Marcus Wareing is excited about the re-opening of his restaurant at The Berkeley which will reopen next month as ‘Marcus’. After ten years, he has said a final farewell to the familiar claret dining room and handed it over to a skilled team of craftsmen to transform into a stunning new contemporary space.
Knightsbridge Circle members have an opportunity to have Marcus prepare, cook and serve you and your better half your very own menu within your very own home.
Dependent on your choice, the Marcus Wareing team will tailor their dishes to your tastes and, in line with the restaurant ethos, the menu will be created with a selection of the finest seasonal ingredients.
The legendary chef is also happy to join you for a drinks reception to introduce the menu before dinner commences. As a finishing touch, each guest can take home a copy of Marcus’s newly released cookery book The Gilbert Scott Book of British Food, which he will personally dedicate.
