In 1983, Battersea Power Station shuttered its doors. Once the third largest generator in the UK, supplying a fifth of London’s electricity, the iconic landmark stood empty and fell into disrepair for over three decades until Malaysia’s SP Setia and Sime Darby Property stepped in to develop the site. Now, the Grade II listed building has reopened with an array of restaurants, bars, offices and apartments, including 18 ultra-exclusive Sky Villas.
Situated on the south bank of the River Thames in Nine Elms, Battersea, the development is the latest project helping to breathe a fresh lease of life into the London borough.
