The Restaurant

Manta, the signature restaurant within The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, offers a sophisticated dining experience inspired by the Pacific coasts. Conceived by chef Enrique Olvera, the restaurant's name carries a dual meaning: the manta ray, symbolizing its focus on seafood, and the Spanish word "manta," conveying a sense of comfort. The sleek, modern space, designed by JSa Arquitectura, features floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the stunning views of Cabo San Lucas. Olvera draws inspiration from Mexico, Peru, and Japan, emphasizing local, sustainable ingredients from Baja California Sur. While Manta does not currently hold any Michelin stars, it is recommended by the Michelin Guide.
