H. Moser & Cie. has released an elegant new watch with a natural jade dial: the Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Wyoming Jade. Limited to just 100 pieces, the Swiss manufacturer used natural, untreated jade obtained from the ground in Wyoming to craft the vibrant emerald green-hued dial.
The utmost care was taken to select the highest quality jade before the precious stone was precision cut using CNC technology. This is a painstaking and time-consuming process; once the dial has been crafted, it’s glued to a metal plate before being milled down to obtain the perfect outer shape and desired thickness. Finally, the dial is hand polished to smooth away any chips or scratches and glued to a brass base.
Each dial is entirely unique as the jade contains naturally occurring marks and comes in a variety of different shades. Ensuring the beauty of the stone takes center stage, the Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Wyoming Jade forgoes any logos on the dial and features simple red gold faceted indices.

In a nod to H. Moser & Cie.’s celebrated craftsmanship, the dial reveals a one-minute flying tourbillon at six o’clock. The sophisticated timepiece is powered by an automatic HMC 804 calibre that is equipped with a double hairspring, designed in-house by the Swiss manufacturer’s sister company, Precision Engineering AG. This ensures friction is reduced and, according to H. Moser & Cie., “significantly improves accuracy and isochronism in continual pursuit of perfection”.
The limited-edition Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Wyoming Jade is finished with an integrated bracelet in red gold and a folding clasp engraved with the H. Moser logo.
