The Suite
The TATA Suite, a two-bedroom residence, functions as a direct homage to the hotel's visionary founder, Sir Jamsetji Tata. Rather than modern minimalism, the design embraces the elegance of a previous era, pairing period architecture with genuine antique furnishings, intricate artwork, and rich fabrics.
Look up in the living room: vaulted ceilings are edged with silver trim and gold detailing, hovering over jewel-toned sofas and a substantial crystal chandelier. The Italian marble bathrooms maintain this sense of scale, each featuring an oversized bathtub and a dedicated dressing area.
For the working traveler, the suite offers serious functionality. Guests can utilize the private study, host boardroom-style gatherings for 15 in the dedicated meeting room, or entertain formally in the dining room. When the work is done, the suite provides a sea-facing spa room with a sauna, plus a private gym for relaxation.
