Trussardi 1911’s First Boutique Opens its Doors in Rome

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Rome, Italy – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine

Starting off its 100th year with a bang, luxury Italian label Trussardi 1911 has opened its first-ever boutique on Rome’s Via dei Condotti, in the heart of the city’s historical center.

Conceptualized by the house’s creative director Milan Vukmirovic, the new store space is a perfect mix of classic and contemporary, incorporating sumptuous natural elements like leather, marble and poplar wood. The furnishings include velvety green sofas with colorful throw pillows, designed to make shoppers feel as if they’re guests in an opulent yet inviting private home. A spacious Roman lounge and dressing area offers linen-lined leather curtains—in a nod to Trussardi’s heritage as a master of leatherwork—and plenty of privacy.

The 4,305-square-foot, two-story shop will carry both the men’s and women’s clothing lines, as well as a full range of leather goods and luggage. Accessories are given top billing, tucked in rich marble casings and shown upon request like fine jewelry.
